THERE IS ENOUGH LOVE FOR EVERYBODY:)

With a wonderful opening, the movie starts..From the first moment to the last, I have watched the movie with a big amazement. I think every aspect of of the movie is carefully thought. The sountrack, the stories, actors and actress are excellent...Actually, after Pride and Prejudice, this the second movie that has affected me very much. This is the second time I have watched it. And even this time, I have felt the same impression. This is should be a very big source of pride for the director Richard Curtis, for productor and the actors and actresses.

.....ten stories intertwine, loosely connected by friends of friends, family and next-door-neighbours. There's the new, bachelor prime minister (Hugh Grant) falling for the teagirl; his sister (Emma Thompson) suspecting her husband (Alan Rickman) may stray; her mate grieving over his wife's death; his stepson longing for a girl from school...

As far as I have understood, the movie mostly takes place in London. The beginning of the movie is very comic:) Billy Mack's acts are so much sweet that in the movie, he is as he is. Therefore, he does not pay effort to act something different but himself..In the movie, with his real name, Billy Mack seaches for a comeback. With that aim in his mind, he has changed the lyrics of one of his biggest hits and turned it into a Christmas song. After this, he sees himself in the platform of competition with Blue, one of most popular pop music group, in order to top the Cristmas charts.Time to time, the scenes of Billy Mark appear during the movie. And thse are the most enjoyable moments:) For example, I cannot forget the scene in which Billy having an interview on TV. He said: "Here's a message from your Uncle Billy kids. Don't buy drugs. Become a pop star and they give them to you for free!" At that point, I have laughed so much that tears have come from my eyes:) Another scene of hm which I cannot forget is in a radio show. Dj asked him: "What's the best shag you've ever had?" And he replied :"Britney Spears. No I'm only kidding. She was rubbish." His mimics and jstures are so much integrated to the scenes that watching his performance is wonderful..

First love story belong to David and Natalie. David is the newly elected Prime Minister of England He begins his job, and as far as he begins, he realizes how difficult can be his responsibilty. When he comes to his home which is called as "NUMBER TEN", he meets with his servants. Among them, Natalie draws his attention and he falls for her. although he tries to stop his feeling, he cannot do that. When the President of the United States comes and tries to deceive Naatalie, David sees that and gathers his strenght and stands up him, making his position very clear. Nevertheless, he got angry with Natalie and Natalie leaves the Number Ten. Then, David goes to her neighborhood, searching house by house until he finds her. They come together ath the local school Christmas concert and they are seen by eveyone while they are kising each other:) This is secene is very romentic:)
Second love story is about David's sister Karen and her husband Harry. They have a normal marriage and have for quite some time. (I want to mention that in her role, Emma Thompson is brillant:) ) She does her job as a wife perfectly. She is a housewife. While she is staying at home, her husband goes to work every day. His new secretary, Mia,( at fist I could not get her name, but after watching that scene again, I could catch it.) though, proves quite tempting and she implies Harry that she wants more than a working relationship. Harry somehow Harry jeopardizes his marriage by purchasing an Christmas gift for Mia, which Karen finds and believes to be for her.Nevertheless, later she learns the truth, and talks Harry about it.

The third love story is between Sarah and Karl. They are working at the same commany. Karl is someting like chief designer. Although these two rarely speak, they have an interest on each other. On office Christmas party, they dance. When he drives her home, things go a bit further. As they're about to make love, her mentally challenged brother calls. Karl asks if answering will help her brother. She says no, but answers anyway and Karl leaves. The unforgettable scene about this love is when Harry talks Sarah about her love for Karl. The dialogue is like this:
Harry: Right. And how long have you been in love with Karl?

Sarah: Sorry?

Harry: How long have you been in love with Karl, our enigmatic chief designer?

Sarah: Ahm, two years, seven months, three days and, I suppose, and hour and thirty minutes.

Harry: I thought as much.

Sarah: Do you think everybody knows?

Harry: Yes.
Sarah: Do you think Karl knows?
Harry: Yes.

Sarah: Oh, that is bad news.

The fourth love is between Juliet and Peter. Actually this is most tragic one. I have felt sorry for Peter. Juliet has just gotten married with Peter's best friend Mark standing up as best man. Juliet believes that Mark doesn't like her since he's never warmed up to her. When Juliet needs a picture of herself in her wedding dress, she asks Mark since she knows he was filming a lot throughout the day. He tries to say no, but she insists and drops by unexpectedly. As they watch the video, Juliet notices that the only one on the tape is her. With her realizations, Mark tries to hide his face in embarrassment. She questions him, saying he never talks to her and doesn't like her but he leaves before they can talk. They don't speak again, but on Christmas Eve he shows up at her and Peter's with poster board and a box playing 'Silent Night' saying that to him, she is perfect and his wasted heart will love her. She gives him a quick kiss before running back into her husband.
The fifth story is about Colin. He is a comic boy for me:) His attitudes are fuuny. Indeed, he is the boy who worked as a waiter at Juliet and Peter's wedding. He thinks himselfs as unlucky in love. He tells his friend Tony that girls in America would love him because of his cute British accent and that he is going to go there. He goes to America, to a bar. There he immediately meets three beautiful girls who find his accent charming and adorable. They invite him to stay at their place with them and by the time Colin returns to England, he's brought another American girl home with him.
Another love appears when author Jamie Bennett goes to France. There he is attracted by a woman hired to clean the house he is renting. Nevertheless, there s a problem. The problem is that she only speaks Portuguese and he only speaks English. She is also attracted to him even though they can't speak to one another. When he returns to England he attempts to learn her language. On Christmas Eve, as he arrives at his family gathering, he immediately turns to leave and gets on a plane to propose to Aurelia, who accepts and has been trying to learn English.
As a last one I want to talk about Daniel. His wife has just died, leaving him to care for his stepson Sam. Daniel has noticed that Sam has seemed so depressed and there's nothing he can do about it. Daniel gets him out of the house and finally gets Sam to admit that he is in love. He was before his mother died and he still is. The girl is named Joanna, the same as Sam's mother, and is American. Sam intends to impress Joanna by learning to play the drums and performing at the school Christmas concert before she flies back to America. He performs brilliantly, but doesn't get a chance to talk to Joanna before she leaves. Daniel drives Sam to the airport and helps him slip past security so he can run through the airport. Once he reaches Joanna he is delighted to find out that she does know his name and as he returns to Daniel he turns around to find Joanna has followed him. She gives him a quick kiss before leaving, but they meet again when she return
As all these show, love is all around the world. In every one's life, it exists. I love this movie very much. It shows the beauty of love. Its perfectness. Yes, it is something usual in everyone's life; but everyone tastes it differently, do not they?
