Yes, definitely.. Dating has never been easy:) I think this sentence summarizes the content of the movie "Must Love Dogs". A perfect type of romentic comedy:) While watching the movie, I came to the conclusion that searching for a soul mate has always been a part of humiliation and aggravation. And finding it at the end is a gorgeous result:) If there are people around you searching for a great lover for you, the job is much more easier:)
Sarah Nolan (DIANE LANE) is a thirty- something pre-school teacher. She has never been divorced for eight months, which is too long for her family to bear. Therefore, with Sarah' s happiness in their mind, they put lots of efforts in order to make Sarah well kept again.They interfere her life very much, including her clothes and her friends. Almost every day, Sarah's father, sisters, brother and cousins come with a picture of a boyfriend canditate. All they do is in order to get Sarah back into the dating scene:) Leading the charge are Sarah’s sisters, Carol and Christine, eager to line up potential suitors, and their widowed father Bill (CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER). Although he is old, he is very active in libertinism.He has been seeing Dolly, whom he met online, along with a number of other ladies whose names his daughters can’t quite remember.
Because they are so much eager to launch ther sister's own dating debut, Carol and Christine pretend to be Sarah and post her profile on perfectmatch.com, with an enciting message. In that message, although I cannor remember exactly, they use the adjecties such as "sensuous", "alluring". And they also mention that " DWF seeks special man to share starlit nights. Must loe dogs." And They wait for the responses. Sarah soon endures a series of mismatches. She also meet Jake Anderson( JOHN CUSACK) who is a soutful boat builder whose idea of true love comes straight out of Dr. Zhiago. Jake is attractive and smart:) Nevertheless, at first Jake imight be looking for more than Sarah wants. Therefore, he is out of discussion for Sarah. Meanwhile, at work, there is a new candidate, Bob Cannor. He is the newly seperated dad of one of Sarah 's young students.(He is more hundsome than Jake, but the apperance does not mean everything as always said:) ) Cahrming and relaxed, Bob seems to be Sarah's choice...But might he be too good to be true? Definitely yes:) Nonetheless, this is my comment. Yours can be much more different.
Then, as you can guess, the soul mate of Sarah is Jack. After recognizing Jack is not the true one for her, Sarah turns the choice of Jack. But, the last time she sees him is when Bob is kissing Sarah. Therefore, it is hard work to set everything in order again. They meet on the road one day. There şis nothing much to say for Sarah because there is another girl near Jack. Later, however, they come together:) I will not gie much detail about this. Because I want you to watch this nice movie:)
If you are a fun of romantic comedy films, you will like it very much. The perception of technology and its usage in love affairs will make you laugh:) One may guess the end of the movie, neertheless, it worths watching:) Because, Must Love Dogs follows the comic, and ultimately rewarding journey of a woman cautiously rediscovering romance and learning to trust her own instincts again. Because, as her family enthusiastically reminds her, it’s never a good idea to give up on love, is it? :)
