WHAT ABOUT GOING ON 30?

13 Going on 30 takes us back to the days on which Mickhael Jackson is on the top.It starts with a Go-Go's song, then we hear the voice of Billy Joel. And, while watching ,it, you may realize that magic done in the movie has limitless ways of turning 13-year-olds into 30-year-olds.
13 Going on 30 has entartained me very much. Although I am more than 13, I feel myself one of its special target audiences who are 13-year-old girls. Actually, there are nothing new in the movie. The plot can be guessed by everyone.Anyway, the movie is likeable. This is a fact that the director of the movie delivered a solid comedy about appreciating what’s really important in life. The major character in the film is acted by Jennifer Garner. She plays the 30-year-old version of Jenna Rink, a young woman who one moment is just turning 13 and wishing for life to pass fast. And then, she is 30, without any recollection of the intervening 17 years. Yes, it is a difficult period for her:) Jenna has her own apartment, a job as a magazine editor job, and boyfriend. Everything in her life changes and it is all new.
Experiencing all these, she is thrilled. (At least, she’s thrilled at first:) ) But then, she begins to learn who she really is. She is actually a nasty, overly ambitious manipulator who rejected her true love, Matt Flamhaff. Having sought out Matt for help, she awakes one morning thinking she’s 13, when she’s already 30. Jenna is forced to recognize what she’s done with her life. She sacrifices her basic decency at age 13 for big-time success. And she sacrifices Matt, as well.
Things proceed pretty much as you’d expect; this is common formula. But the movie is ultimately so sweet that it is diffiucult to not to have fun and sentimentality. 13 Going on 30 is a romantic fantasy for a young audience, and for more mature folks who are able to put aside their cynicism for 98-minutes and imagine what they might do if they could turn back the clock and make 30-year-old decisions This isn’t a great film, but it’s good fun and sweet without being cloying.
